Caitlin Carroll is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Business Practice Group. She is based in the Firm’s Bangor office, but frequently travels to the firm’s other offices in Augusta, Ellsworth, and Portland. Caitlin’s areas of focus include business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, angel/venture capital financings, securities offerings, and general corporate work.
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Caitlin earned her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in May 2023. In addition to her Juris Doctor, she also earned a Diplôme Universitaire in French and European Union Law, and an LL.M. in Business Law, Taxation and Compliance, from CY Cergy Paris Université in May 2023. While at Vermont Law, Caitlin served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Harold E. Eaton, Jr. of the Vermont Supreme Court, as a summer associate at Eaton Peabody, and as an Articles Editor on Vermont Law Review.
Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas where she majored in International Business. While at St. Edward’s, Caitlin studied abroad in Angers, France to focus on European History and International Business, and San Jose, Costa Rica to focus on Global Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Business Communication.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys international and local travel, especially exploring all around Maine with her dog Sirius. As a newcomer to Maine, she looks forward to joining her local communities and of course, her first wild moose encounter.
