New York City-based Desert Bloom Food Ventures, a fund that invests in and supports food companies, led the funding round, with participation from Maine Venture Fund, True Wealth Ventures and numerous other investors.
Atlantic Sea Farms is a pioneer in commercial kelp farming, and through its products now represents over 80% of all line-grown seaweed in the country.
