Eaton Peabody is pleased to welcome Bill Campbell, Caitlin Carroll, and Emma Pooler to the firm as associate attorneys. Bill and Caitlin will be based out of the Bangor office, while Emma will be based in Portland.

Bill Campbell is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Litigation Practice Group based in Bangor, Maine. Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Bill graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2023, where he earned a Business and Transactional Law Certificate, and was a member of the Information Privacy and Business Law Associations. While in law school, Bill completed a Legal Externship at a large regional hospital, he also served as a Summer Associate at two reputable law firms in Maine. Prior to law school, Bill served as a Legal Intern at the Federal Defender’s Office in Bangor, and as a Legal Intern at a large global firm.
Caitlin Carroll is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Business Practice Group. She is based in the Firm’s Bangor office, but frequently travels to the firm’s other offices in Augusta, Ellsworth, and Portland. Caitlin’s areas of focus include business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, angel/venture capital financings, securities offerings, and general corporate work. Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Caitlin earned her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in May 2023. In addition to her Juris Doctor, she also earned a Diplôme Universitaire in French and European Union Law, and an LL.M. in Business Law, Taxation and Compliance, from CY Cergy Paris Université in May 2023. While at Vermont Law, Caitlin served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Harold E. Eaton, Jr. of the Vermont Supreme Court, as a summer associate at Eaton Peabody, and as an Articles Editor on Vermont Law Review.
Emma Pooler is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Litigation Practice Group based in Portland, Maine. Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2023. At The University of Maine School of Law, Emma was an executive board member of the Women’s Law Association. While in law school, Emma worked as a Legal Intern for the Maine Federal Defender’s Office in Portland. Emma also served as a Student Attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and the Rural Practice Clinic. During her time at the Rural Practice Clinic in Fort Kent, she assisted clients in divorce matters, child custody disputes, criminal proceedings, protection from abuse matters, drafting power of attorneys and wills, and civil litigation. Emma acted as a lawyer of the day and assisted clients with criminal proceedings in Fort Kent and Madawaska District Courts.
