Emma Pooler is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Litigation Practice Group based in Portland, Maine.
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2023. At The University of Maine School of Law, Emma was an executive board member of the Women’s Law Association.
While in law school, Emma worked as a Legal Intern for the Maine Federal Defender’s Office in Portland. Emma also served as a Student Attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and the Rural Practice Clinic. During her time at the Rural Practice Clinic in Fort Kent, she assisted clients in divorce matters, child custody disputes, criminal proceedings, protection from abuse matters, drafting power of attorneys and wills, and civil litigation. Emma acted as a lawyer of the day and assisted clients with criminal proceedings in Fort Kent and Madawaska District Courts.
Emma also holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Sociology with a concentration in Crime, Law, and Justice from the University of Maine in Orono.
Emma enjoys reading, skiing, paddleboarding, baking, and kayaking.
