John’s practice is concentrated in real estate, and has ranged from residential title examinations to complex commercial lending transactions. He has focused extensively on issues of highway law, roads, easements and road associations, and has considerable experience with condominiums, planned unit developments, and cooperative housing. John has often served as a referee, expert witness, and mediator in real estate cases.
John is a frequent seminar speaker on real estate issues, especially topics concerning roads and easements. John has for many years been the speaker on real estate law in the annual Legal Year in Review seminar of the Maine State Bar Association. In recognition of his legal skills and professionalism, John has received an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating in the distinguished legal directory, Martindale-Hubbell®.
