Marty Grohman is a Business Consultant based out of Portland, Maine. As a Business Consultant, Marty brings years of expertise leading, operating, and assisting growth companies. As a member of Eaton Peabody Consulting, Marty will work with businesses in the energy, environmental, and bluetech space to develop roadmaps, assist with financial modeling and project management, assist with market research, develop and manage ESG programs, and act as a coach and mentor as the businesses scale.
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Marty was recently the executive director of E2Tech, the Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine, an organization of 280+ companies committed to advancing Maine’s cleantech economy. Marty holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer. He is a former State Representative, where he was a member of the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee and the Criminal Justice Committee. Grohman co-founded DuraLife Decking, a composite decking manufacturing company that continues to operate and grow in the Biddeford Industrial Park. After the company’s acquisition, Grohman served as Director of Sustainability for GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, developing initiatives such as the company’s Zero-Waste-to-Landfill effort, as well as building networks with national organizations such as the US Green Building Council.
