Mike Tadenev is a shareholder based in the firm’s Ellsworth office. Mike works with Mount Desert Island and mid-coast businesses and individuals in the areas of real estate law, asset preservation, estate planning, and general business matters.
Mike’s experience encompasses the following aspects of real estate representation:
- Acquisitions and dispositions
- Sale/leasebacks
- Financing
- Easements, rights of way, and boundary line disputes
- IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges
- Leasing for landlords and tenants
- Asset management
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody in 2016, Mike spent nearly a decade representing businesses and insurance companies in a broad range of civil matters that included significant experience in labor and employment law, including workers’ compensation law, having practiced extensively before the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board, the Board’s Appellate Division, and, on several occasions, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
